Indian Wedding Outfit Ideas | PART 2

If you come regularly to my blog, you must be knowing that a few days back I have published a blog on Indian Wedding Outfit Ideas but I’ve only included three events in that. So, today, I’m gonna be sharing outfit ideas for the rest of the event. If you haven’t yet checked out part 1 of this series, make sure to check them out by clicking here.

Now, without any further ado, let’s get started.

# SANGEET

Sangeet is the most awaited pre-wedding function because it’s full of fun and cheer. From peppy dance performances to stylish outfits, everything is exciting, isn’t it? So, you would want an outfit that looks appealing on stage and allows you easily to shake the leg. Having said that, this four-tiered sharara with an embellished crop top would be a perfect amalgamation of comfort and style. What is striking me about this outfit is its blue color. Looks so vibrant and cheerful. Just accessories with a nice pair of statement earrings, apply some make-up along with a bright red lip and let your hair flow while dancing.

Lehengas are the most graceful outfit that you can flaunt at an Indian wedding function but to carry a heavily embellished lehenga will not be the right choice for the sangeet. Well, worry not because I’ve got you covered. Try wearing these kinds of lightweight flowy lehenga with a crop top. They are easy-breezy and comfortable to dance around in. Just place your dupatta around the neck and don’t forget to accessories it well, along with silky straight hair because you gotta slay honey.

As I mentioned before that the sangeet outfit should be a light and breezy one but at the same time, it should look appealing too. Having said that, this multi-hued Anarkali Gown is absolute gorgeousness! It is lightweight, easy to wear, and with minimal jewelry and, you can revamp your look easily. And because this outfit is light and breezy, you can dance your heart out on the stage.

# WEDDING

After all these pre-wedding functions, here comes the D-day, Wedding and you all want to look glam for the day, don’t you? A deep red lehenga topped with the mirror work from top to bottom is a guaranteed head-turner. Just add a statement Polki choker, tie the hair into a messy bun, and leaves some tendrils in front with a bold lip, and a soft base to look like a pure diva that you are.

Make a style statement with this charismatic high-waisted sharara set. Right from the intricate mirror work to the plunging neckline of the blouse to the oozing cape, everything about this outfit is worth rooting for. This outfit will also save you from the hassle of carrying a dupatta around. Just pair it with statement earrings, pulled-back hair, and mauve lips, and let your stylish attire do all the talking.

One outfit that comes to our mind whenever we think about ethnic wear is a saree. Especially, the banarsi Silk. It’s an evergreen option that you can wear at an Indian Wedding. You don’t go overboard with jewelry while you’re wearing the banarsi saree because it’s a statement itself. Just a Kundan necklace with some rings and gold bangles is enough to complete the look beautifully.

# RECEPTION/COCKTAIL

Let’s accept the fact that attending all those events for almost a week, we have the least capacity of decking up into a heavy lehenga or something like that to reception/cocktail party. At least, this happens with me always but still, we want to look sober. So, make your cocktail outfit full of bling with a shimmering sequins saree. It barely requires any effort and is still chic every time you wear it. Since it’s a contemporary style, just a pair of ear studs with a nude lip is a good way to let your saree be the hero.

When you’re done with the traditional reds, greens, and pinks during the main wedding functions, a nude color gown is just perfect for you to wear to the reception/cocktail party. All you have to do is leave your tresses open, along with subtle make-up and smokey eye. Don’t forget to carry a clutch and you will look effortlessly stylish, classy, and gorgeous all at once.

No one wants to wear a 3 kgs lehenga in the cocktail party, do you? Everyone loves to wear fabrics that are light as air or an outfit that has minimal embroidery. Basically, we like to keep it effortless and easy breezy. Having said that, this enchanting navy blue lehenga is simply perfect for the cocktail ceremony. It’s the perfect reflection of comfort and style. Dewy make-up with flushed coral cheek and statement choker will combine the look gorgeously.
