HELPβ“πŸ– INSTAGRAM DISABLED MY ACCOUNT!🚫

Hi, everyone

My name is Ankita Jaiswal. My Instagram account has been disabled on 8th May 2021, for violating their policies, and because my Facebook account was linked to my Instagram account, it got disabled too along with my Facebook business page. I filled out the two appeal forms of Instagram and I got a message back from Facebook, asking me to send a picture of myself holding a piece of paper that has my full name, my user name, and the verification code that was mentioned in the email that they sent. So, I sent a picture but did not get an email back. After that, I kept sending the same picture in that original email as a reply. I didn’t fill any other form because they can block your IP if you fill too many forms (I got to know this from YOUTUBE videos).

After all these, I made a new Facebook business page in order to get access to a Facebook live chat representative but this idea didn’t work as my ad account got disabled too. So, I gave up on this idea as well.

I’m a fashion blogger and Instagram is an integral part of my work. I have been trying to regain access for three days and haven’t heard back from IG/FB. I’d really appreciate if you guys can help me out in this and get connect me with any of the people who work in Facebook or Instagram.

Thank you.

  1. I haven’t encountered anything related to it yet! But, have you read out the Instagram/Facebook policies regarding getting back your account? or many days does the support takes to reply to the appeal you submitted?

  2. I’m not on instagram and barely use Facebook. I love your blog and have trouble imaginging why your instagram and Facebook accounts were closed if they are similar in content. Good luck. I have heard a few other bloggers comment about thinking their stuff on Facebook may have been censored but they deal in conspiracy theories, not fashion.

  3. Sorry about this experience, it must be frustrating and a setback. My Facebook account was once disabled because of sharing my website link. They have very many new restrictions which they do not communicate well to their users hence one can easily lose an account they’ve put so much work on. All the best.

  4. My heart goes out to you, Ankita. I’m currently in FB jail myself for sharing positive messages to too many anti-bullying groups. All I can tell is that trying to email them is a futile attempt, I tried that too and got no response. The thing I’ve learned about Facebook as that they don’t care about anyone. They have too much power and they decide who gets seen by who. I’ve read many articles that confirm this. I’m sorry if this sounds negative. But Facebook is going down and because they block people for no reason- maybe they decide that they don’t like a person and ban them, people are moving away from FB in droves. I’m considering closing my account. I’ve already left Twitter. I hope and pray you get the issue sorted out. However, I’ve got to be real. Facebook has a lot of power and they don’t care. That much I’ve learned the hard way. Best wishes, sweetie. ❀

  5. I’m really sorry about all your experience concerning your Instagram account coupled with the fact that Instagram support system has been inactive ever since covid 19. Cyber_rebourne on Instagram can help you solve most problems pertaining to your account.
